Preparing For the 2024-2025 School Year at Collier!
Last week, Collier School staff spent time preparing to welcome our students back to campus. New staff participated in Mission Training, deepening their understanding of our beliefs rooted in the life and work of St. Mary Euphrasia. They reflected on what drew them to Collier, aligning their passion with our mission of providing youth with a safe and supportive environment to learn.
Later, new staff met with program leaders to familiarize themselves with their new home at Collier. On Thursday, all staff gathered to kick off the year with inspiring messages from our Executive Director and Director of Education, emphasizing the importance of adaptability in our work. This year, Collier School remains committed to evolving with our students' needs, including the introduction of the Achieve Program, a new Enhancement Program in our middle school for students who benefit from highly individualized learning.
To further strengthen our Collier community, Jo Ann and Pat from Positive School Climate returned for a Restorative Practice Training, helping us continue to build a positive and inclusive environment for all. Here’s to another year of growth, learning, and community at Collier School!
