Our flag is flying in Antarctica!

Back in November, we shared that Abby, a Collier High School student, created a flag in her Environmental Science Studies class, led by Mrs. Librizzi. In partnership with Rutgers University Marine Educators, the classes study the impacts of climate change on Antarctica, focusing on the Antarctic food web and how Adélie penguins are affected.

Abby's flag is now proudly displayed in Antarctica, overlooking a penguin breeding colony. We are proud of the great work our students at Collier Schools continue to show forth!
